The project
Mess washroom refurbishment,
Lympstone
CIG Construction refurbished the washrooms at a training establishment’s mess in Lympstone for the defence estate’s facilities provider. Dated cubicles, sanitaryware and floor finishes were stripped out and the rooms rebuilt.
New cubicles, vanity units, urinals and heated towel rails were installed with fresh wall linings, safety flooring and decoration, and the external doors replaced. The mess stayed in use around the works.

In the detail
Fit for service, quickly.
Working inside a live military establishment meant vetted operatives, controlled access and a tight sequence, so each room was returned to use as soon as it was finished.
