The project
Industrial estate refurbishment,
Frome
CIG Construction refurbished an occupied industrial estate of sixteen units in Frome for its local-authority landlord. The metal roofs were cleaned, primed and overcoated with a warranted liquid waterproofing system, with cladding, rooflights and gutters repaired.
Roller shutter doors were replaced, party walls upgraded and vacant units fitted out, alongside drainage and tarmac repairs. Work moved terrace by terrace so tenants could keep trading.

In the detail
Roofs renewed over trading units.
The roofing manufacturer inspected preparation and coating thickness at each stage, so the twenty-year product warranty could be issued on completion.
